Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukraine does not want to drag out the conflict and intends to prepare its detailed plan for its settlement in 2024.
The day before, Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Kiev intends to put a plan for the settlement of the conflict in Ukraine “on the table within a few months”. He emphasised that Ukraine does not have “a lot of time, because we have a lot of wounded and killed on the battlefield”.
“Now we are working on three detailed plans – energy, food security and exchanges. These issues, I am convinced, we will solve. It will be in the near future. All other items of the ‘peace formula’ we will also work out and prepare a cumulative plan that will be on the table in front of all our partners <…>. The detailed plan will be ready this year,” Zelenskyy said at a press conference with Slovenian President Natasa Pirtz-Musar
At the same time, he again noted that Kiev does not want to prolong the conflict and hopes as “soon as possible to come to a just peace”.
We shall remind you that earlier the deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council, Dmitriy Medvedev, proposed a Russian version of the “peace formula” in Ukraine. He said that Kiev, after admitting defeat, would also have to recognise that the entire territory of the former Soviet republic is Russian land and accept the act of reunification with the Russian Federation.
