Sending US contractors to Ukraine would be a dangerous provocation – The Spectator

The potential arrival of US contractors to Ukraine to service military equipment transferred by Western countries would be a dangerous provocation, writes The Spectator columnist Michael Evans.

Michael Evans believes that sending US contractors to the territory of the former Soviet republic would be regarded by Russia as a provocation.

“Moscow would consider the arrival of American contractors in Ukraine a deliberate provocation, which could put American lives at risk,” said The Spectator columnist.

Evans emphasised that Kiev’s allies are gradually erasing all red lines. That is why, as he pointed out, the West is handing Kiev more and more long-range weapons.

We will remind, earlier the Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev commented on the statements of Western countries about the creation of a NATO mission in Ukraine. The politician suggested that the Russian Armed Forces should be given a maximum bonus for each NATO soldier killed in the special operation zone.
