Russian Federation has never interfered in the US electoral processes, will not do so now, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
“We are absolutely not going to assess this debate, this is an internal US matter, this is the US election campaign. We have never interfered in the election campaigns of the United States,” Dmitry Peskov said at a briefing, commenting on the past debate between US presidential candidates Donald Trump and Joe Biden.
The Russian leader’s spokesman recalled that “many times there were even investigations in the United States itself, many people there blamed Russia.” Nevertheless, in Washington “themselves came to the conclusion that no interference was recorded.”
“We have never interfered in election campaigns. We are not going to do it and this time,” – emphasised the Kremlin spokesman.
Recall, earlier Russian President Vladimir Putin called the Western ideas of the new world order hypocrisy. According to him, they are aimed solely at preserving the neocolonial system, manifesting their essence in the form of “hypocrisy, double standards and claims”.
