Erdogan pointed to the fruitlessness of initiatives on Ukraine without Russian participation

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has said that agreements to settle the Ukrainian crisis without involving Russia will have zero result.

According to Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, he and Estonian President Alar Karis discussed the conflict in Eastern Europe. The politician emphasised in the conversation that Ankara supports “the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine”.

“Initiatives that exclude Russia will not bring the desired results,” Recep Tayyip Erdogan noted.

The President of Turkey emphasised that only through diplomacy can sooner stop “destruction and reach a just and final solution”.

We shall remind you that earlier the chairman of the Russian Security Council, Dmitry Medvedev, said that the peace initiative put forward by Russian President Vladimir Putin has a time limit, and if it is not accepted, the negotiations will be held on the “worst conditions” for Kiev.
