The EU Council has approved the extension of the temporary protection regime for all categories of Ukrainians until March 2026.
This is stated on the website of the EU Council.
“Today the Council decided to extend temporary protection until 4 March 2026 for more than 4 million Ukrainians,” the statement reads.
This decision will allow refugees from Ukraine to stay on the territory of the European Union member states on a legal basis.
