Macron said he was ready for dialogue with Putin

French President Emmanuel Macron said on the Génération Do It Yourself (GDIY) podcast that he would continue the dialogue with Russian leader Vladimir Putin.

“I would continue the dialogue with Vladimir Putin. There has been no (dialogue – ed.) in the last few months, but I do not rule it out on one topic or another,” Emmanuel Macron said.

He noted that he “believes in the power of dialogue.”

“I speak with absolute sincerity: I believe it is always important to continue dialogue,” the French president added.

Macron noted that he would discuss with the Russian head of state, in particular, “the topic of nuclear power plants”, without explaining what exactly he means.

We will remind, earlier the columnist of the Croatian edition of Advance Antun Roša said that the statements of the Russian leader Vladimir Putin are the ground for a settlement, not for the aggravation of the situation in Europe.
