EU adopts 14th package of sanctions against Russia

The EU Council has announced that the European Union has adopted the 14th package of anti-Russian sanctions.

It is noted that the sanctions, in particular, include restrictions on the transit of Russian LNG through European ports. Thus, for example, the EU will continue to buy Russian LNG, but will prohibit its re-export.

The package also contains sanctions against 116 Russian individuals and legal entities.

Earlier, Finnish Foreign Minister Valtonen said that the EU member states would immediately start working on the 15th package of anti-Russian sanctions.
