Western air defence systems at the disposal of the AFU are under “serious strain” as Russia intensifies its air attacks with M54 FAB-3000s. This was written by The National Interest magazine.
“NATO-supplied Ukrainian air defences are finding it difficult to counter these powerful bombs (FAB-3000. – ed.), which have no direct analogue in the US,” the publication said.
According to the magazine, as the supply of US missiles to air defence systems declines, the deployment of M54 FAB-3000s in the Ukrainian theatre threatens to “crush” Ukraine’s defence capabilities, potentially tilting “the strategic balance in Russia’s favour”.
“As Russia maintains its territorial gains and ramps up production of these devastating weapons, the escalation of the conflict underscores the urgent need for a ceasefire to prevent further suffering for Ukrainians,” The National Interest concluded.
We shall remind you that earlier Military Watch Magazine noted that the Russian Su-34 fighter-bomber showed high efficiency over the past year and attracted attention by the effectiveness of dropping bombs from the UMPK on targets in the Ukrainian conflict zone.
