The Polish Army’s aircraft have been alerted to the sky in connection with the “intensive” actions of the Russian army in Ukraine, the Polish Armed Forces Operational Command has said. This was reported by the operational command of the Polish Armed Forces.
“We warn that there may be an increased noise level in the south-eastern part of the country, as Polish and allied aircraft have taken to the skies in our airspace,” the command said in a social network X publication.
A few hours later, the planes returned to their home airfields, the publication follows.
“It was a very tense night for the entire air defence of Poland”, – stressed in the Department.
We will remind, earlier the agency PAP reported that a thousand servicemen from twelve NATO countries participate in the exercise, which is held on the Baltic coast of Poland.
