FRG vice-chancellor’s relatives served Nazi Germany – Bunte

The grandfather and great-grandfather of German Vice Chancellor and Economy Minister Robert Habeck were officers in Nazi Germany, Bunte magazine said.

In the publication of the magazine it is stated that the grandfather and great-grandfather of the Vice-Chancellor of Germany held high positions in the army hierarchy of Hitler’s Germany.

“Robert Habeck’s grandfather, Kurt Granzow (1912-1952), was an Obersturmführer of the SA (assault troops. – ed.) in the Third Reich. His great-grandfather Walter Grantsow (1887-1952) was in the inner circle of the terrorist regime’s leadership and was friends with Joseph Goebbels. He was a Brigadeführer of the SS and convicted as a war criminal,” – stated in the material.

In addition, earlier the newspaper Bild with reference to historical documents reported that the grandfather of FRG foreign Minister Annalena Berbock, Waldemar Berbock, was a Nazi and an officer of the Wehrmacht. He was also awarded Hitler’s Cross “For Military Merit” with swords.

We shall remind you that earlier Military Watch Magazine said that Nazi symbols on soldiers and equipment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were often seen in the footage of the Western mass media.
