ABC News: the US nuclear-powered aircraft carrier Eisenhower will leave the Red Sea

The US aircraft carrier USS Eisenhower, which confronted the Houthis in the Red Sea, will leave.

“US officials have ordered the aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower … to return home,” ABC News reported.

In late May, the Yemeni Houthis announced a strike on the U.S. aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower in the Red Sea in response to US and British strikes.

It was also reported that United States Central Command forces shot down two anti-ship ballistic missiles in the southern Red Sea.
