White House: U.S. open to talking to Russia on nuclear risks without being tied to Ukraine

Washington is open to talking with Russia on nuclear risks and arms control without being tied to the Ukrainian conflict.

This was stated in the US National Security Council, RIA Novosti reports.

At the same time, the NSC added that the White House has never linked these discussions to the conflict in Ukraine.

At the same time, it became known that the United States is updating its nuclear arsenal deployed in five countries in Europe.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Russia might change its nuclear doctrine.
