The F-16 fighter jets being transferred to Kiev will be deployed in Ukraine, US Assistant to the President for National Security Jake Sullivan said.
“The plan is to station F-16s in Ukraine. The bilateral security agreement that President Biden and… Zelenskyy signed, emphasises this point,” TASS quoted him as saying.
Earlier, Defence News quoted US officials as saying that the training of Ukrainian pilots for the F-16s leaves much to be desired.
