EU bought a record €86m worth of food waste from Ukraine in April

In April this year, the EU bought food waste from Ukraine for a record €86m in the history of their mutual trade.

This is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the data of European statistics.

It is noted that the main part of the supplies in April was cake and other solid waste produced during the extraction of vegetable fats or oils.

According to the agency, they accounted for 71 per cent of all Ukrainian supplies of food industry waste to the EU.

Earlier, Ukraine signed an agreement with the USA on the supply of US liquefied gas.

It was also reported that Ukraine intends to sell 19 companies to close the budget hole.
