Peskov: West is fuelling tensions, this cannot happen without Russia’s response
The countries of the collective West are relentlessly escalating tensions, this cannot happen without Russia’s response, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
“Putin said that the danger is great, we see how the countries of the collective West – the United States, France, other European countries – relentlessly escalate tensions, provoke tensions, go for new and new rounds of escalation. Of course, this cannot all happen without Russia’s response,” Peskov said in an interview with a TV reporter for the programme “Moscow. Kremlin. Putin” on Russia 1’s Pavel Zarubin.
Peskov also said that the Swiss conference on Ukraine would not talk about peace.
“At the Swiss conference itself will not talk about peace, there will be no search for a peaceful settlement. Taking into account the interests of all parties,” he emphasised.
