Swiss president: there was not complete unity at Ukraine conference

The discussion at the conference on Ukraine in Bürgenstock showed the existence of different points of view, Swiss President Viola Amherd said.

“Discussions over the past two days showed that there are different points of view,” she noted.

Amherd added that what was important was the realisation that the path to peace in Ukraine must be based on international law and in particular the UN Charter.

This conference will be followed by other forums to resolve the Ukrainian conflict, she said.

The final document of the Swiss conference on Ukraine states that a solution to the conflict should include both sides.
