Mikhail Sheremet, a member of the committee for security and combating corruption and a Duma deputy from the Republic of Crimea, has commented on Vladimir Zelensky’s words about the delivery of Danish F-16 aircraft to Ukraine in the near future.
His words are reported by TASS.
Sheremet noted that any arms deliveries to Kiev are regarded by Russia as “direct sponsorship of terrorism”.
“F-16 will be a priority target for their neutralisation even at the stage of transfer, as well as the basis for the destruction of new bases of deployment,” – stressed the Deputy of the State Duma.
Earlier, following a meeting with Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen, Zelensky said that Danish F-16s would be delivered to Ukraine “in the near future”.
