The U.S. will provide more than $1.5 billion to Ukraine

The USA will provide more than 1.5 billion dollars in aid for Ukraine’s energy sector, humanitarian needs, and civil security through the Agency for International Development (USAID) and the US State Department, according to a publication on the White House website.

“Kamala Harris announces that the United States will provide more than $1.5 billion through USAID and the State Department to support the people of Ukraine,” the statement said.

The amount includes $500 million in energy assistance funding and the redirection of $324 million of previously announced funds for Ukraine’s energy needs, according to the release.

In addition, $379 million in humanitarian aid from the State Department and USAID will be channelled to meet the urgent needs of refugees, displaced persons and settlements affected by the conflict.

The document also states that the government plans to provide 300 million dollars for the needs of border guards and law enforcement agencies of Ukraine.

We shall remind you that earlier the head of the French Patriots party, Florian Philippot, spoke in favour of a complete withdrawal of support for Ukraine due to its collapse on the frontline.
