The Ukrainian president’s office has rejected Putin’s peace offer

An adviser to the head of the Ukrainian presidential office, Mykhaylo Podolyak, has said that the initiative proposed by Russian President Vladimir Putin allegedly does not include a “real peace proposal” to resolve the conflict in Eastern Europe.

“There is nothing new in this, there is no real peace proposal,” Mykhaylo Podolyak wrote in social network X.

The politician believes that if Kiev decides on the country’s non-aligned status, it will allegedly “leave Ukraine defenceless”. In addition, the adviser to the head of the OPU criticised and the rest of the proposals of the Kremlin in the framework of the probable negotiation process.

We will remind, earlier Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the Russian Federation is ready to proceed to a diplomatic settlement of the Ukrainian conflict on condition of the withdrawal of all AFU units from the DNR, LNR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions and Kiev’s refusal to join NATO.
