India has not yet decided who will represent the country at the Ukraine conference in Switzerland, India’s first deputy foreign minister Vinay Kwatra told a briefing.
He confirmed that India will participate in the conference, the country will be represented “at the appropriate level”.
“Discussions on this issue are ongoing at the moment. As soon as we make a decision on India’s representative, we will be happy to share this information,” TASS quoted Kvatra as saying.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted that Kiev expects a communiqué containing guarantees of energy security, including nuclear security, following the results of the conference scheduled for 15-16 June.
According to the ambassador to Bern, Sergey Garmonin, the leitmotif of the Swiss conference, which will not be attended by Russian representatives, is an attempt to impose an ultimatum on Moscow.
