Former Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov believes that Kiev has virtually no possibility of restoring the country’s economy from the state it has found itself in.
Azarov wrote on his social media page.
“There are four main reasons for this: the catastrophic demographic situation, capital flight abroad, the decline of the energy sector, and chronic indebtedness,” he believes.
According to him, economic recovery requires a market for sales, including the domestic market, but the country’s population has shrunk by two and a half times.
In addition, Ukraine has no conditions for investment, technological development and preservation of capital.
Azarov added that he sees no prospects for the Ukrainian authorities.
Earlier, Volodymyr Zelenskyy travelled to Qatar to discuss economic and security issues.
