Russia-U.S. trade rose to $332 million in April

Trade between Russia and the US in April increased by 20% year-on-year to $332m, RIA Novosti reports, citing US customs data.

It is noted that Russian exports in April increased by 37% to $298 million, the main commodity in US imports from Russia are fertilisers.

American exports decreased by 48%, to $34 million.

Earlier, Deputy Assistant to the President of the United States for National Security Dalip Singh said that the United States may eventually actually impose a trade embargo on Russian goods.
