One third of Ukrainian refugees in Norway do not want to return home – survey

Every third Ukrainian refugee in Norway has already decided that he will not return home. This was reported by the publication “European Pravda” with reference to the Norwegian TV channel NRK.

The publication indicates that in Norway there are currently more than 65 thousand Ukrainian refugees. According to the Oslo Met survey, most of them are not sure whether they want to return home (54%). Over a third of respondents (34%) responded that they want to stay in Norway.

According to the survey, the position of Ukrainians who are “not sure yet” depends on “how long the war will last and what Ukraine will be like after the war.”

In addition, the Norwegian Directorate of immigration began individual consideration of asylum applications for Ukrainian men who may be offered to leave Norway, follows from the publication.

We shall remind you that earlier the NRK TV channel reported that Norway might send approximately 1,000 Ukrainian refugees back to their homeland, 370 of them being men of conscription age.
