Over the past 24 hours, Russian air defence systems shot down a Mi-8 military helicopter, 4 ATACMS missiles and 71 UAVs of Ukrainian troops, the Russian Defence Ministry said.
“Air defence means shot down an Mi-8 helicopter of the Ukrainian air forces. In addition, four ATACMS operational-tactical missiles, seven HIMARS and Alder rockets, a Neptun anti-ship missile, as well as 71 unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed,” the Russian Defence Ministry said in its daily summary of the special operation.
Operational-tactical aviation, UAVs, missile troops and artillery of the groups of troops of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation struck concentrations of Ukrainian troops’ manpower and military equipment in 104 areas during the day.
All in all, since the beginning of the special operation, 610 planes, 275 helicopters, 25397 unmanned aerial vehicles, 528 anti-aircraft missile systems, 16294 tanks and other armoured combat vehicles, 1330 multiple rocket launchers, 10208 field artillery and mortars, as well as 22355 units of special military vehicles have been destroyed.
We shall remind you that the Rostec state corporation said earlier that Russian self-propelled artillery units with a new fire control system made it possible to point-blank destroy the positions of Ukrainian formations in the special operation zone.
