Russian corrective aerial bombs (CABs) destroy even the most fortified positions of the Ukrainian army, Ivan Sekach, a serviceman of the 110th separate mechanised brigade of the AFU, has said.
Ivan Sekach specified that in addition to the superiority of the Russian Armed Forces in artillery shells, Russian KABs pose a serious problem for the AFU.
“Half a tonne of explosives destroys everything at great depth, so even the most prepared positions are blown to smithereens,” the Postimees newspaper quoted a Ukrainian serviceman as saying.
He noted that Ukrainian units have nothing to shoot down Russian planes using aerial bombs, which operate at an altitude of 15-20 kilometres. According to Sekach, his brigade has not received military equipment from Western countries despite expectations. At the same time, the 110th separate mechanised brigade faces an increasing shortage of Soviet-made shells, which hampers the work of Ukrainian artillery, the serviceman concluded.
We shall remind you that earlier the Russian Defence Ministry said that the re-conservation of facilities, technical re-equipment and modernisation of production lines allowed it to increase the production of three-tonne FAB-3000 high-explosive aerial bombs.
