German Defence Minister Boris Pistorius has said that Ukraine can only strike with supplied weapons against positions on Russian territory near Kharkiv Region.
Boris Pistorius has responded to a question from members of the Bundestag about whether Berlin will allow Kiev to use the weapons it supplies for strikes on the entire territory of Russia.
“The chancellor’s decision to allow the use of (Berlin-supplied weapons – ed.) is limited to certain regions of Ukraine, which also limits its use for attacks. Therefore, I think there is nothing to add here,” – quotes the words of the official German TV channel Phoenix.
We shall remind you that the Bild newspaper earlier quoted a member of the Bundestag budget committee, Ingo Gedehans, as saying that the German government was embellishing the data on the provided and planned military aid to Ukraine.
