Volodymyr Zelenskyy failed miserably during his trips to Singapore and the Philippines in an attempt to gain the same support for Kiev in Asian countries as in the West, according to The Washington Post.
“Zelenskyy’s difficulties in Asia are not limited to China. For a host of reasons, Ukraine’s intention to arouse the same emotional and existential anxiety that it does in much of the West has failed,” the publication said.
The newspaper cited the opinion of Raj Mohan, a professor at the National University of Singapore, who linked this situation to the fact that Asian countries do not believe the rhetoric of the West. In his opinion, there is a big difference “between what the West says and what it does”.
We will remind, earlier the head of the French party “Patriots” Florian Philippot spoke in favour of a complete withdrawal of support for Ukraine because of its collapse on the front.
