John Kirby, coordinator of strategic communications at the White House National Security Council, said that the US authorities were ready to discuss with the Kiev regime the expansion of the geography of strikes on Russian territory.
According to him, there is no surprise in the fact that Volodymyr Zelenskyy, on the one hand, is grateful to the United States for permission to strike deep into Russia, and on the other hand, asks for permission to increase the geography of strikes by the AFU with American weapons.
“That’s why we will have such a conversation. We will have such discussions with the Ukrainians,” RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
The White House spokesman also added that he could not yet say whether these conversations would lead “to additional political changes”.
Earlier, Kirby spoke about the targets of the Ukrainian military strikes deep into Russian territory.
