A US general called the AFU’s complaints about Abrams tanks “nonsense”

Retired US Lieutenant General Mark Hertling called the Ukrainian military’s complaints about US Abrams tanks “rubbish” in a CNN interview.

According to him, he has been following the performance of this military equipment in Europe for almost three decades and has not seen any problems with them.

Commenting on the CNN report, in which the AFU military speaks about insufficient armour, technical problems, as well as a shortage of ammunition, the general said that the Ukrainian military was talking nonsense.

“I will say in one word: this is complete nonsense,” RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.

Earlier, the Ukrainian military told US journalists about the weaknesses of the Abrams tanks that the Pentagon had supplied to Kiev.
