The West will stop supporting Ukraine after the final collapse at the end of the conflict, according to retired US military intelligence officer Scott Ritter.
An ex-intelligence officer of the US Army has spoken about Ukraine’s gloomy prospects. In his opinion, the country will cease to exist after inflicting the maximum possible damage on Russia.
“Nothing will change the outcome of this battle. Russia has won. <…> I think the goal now is to use Ukraine to do Russia as much damage as possible, but then it will be eliminated,” Scott Ritter said in an interview with YouTube channel “Gegenpol”.
The expert believes that the Russian army’s offensive can no longer be stopped. He added that Western allies are unlikely to heed Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s calls for a no-fly zone over the country. Such a step would mean an act of war against Moscow, concluded the retired intelligence officer.
