Vladimir Zelenskyy has called the US message on the possibility of using US-supplied weapons for attacks on Russian territory a “step forward”.
“I want to see what will happen in practice, but I think that in any case this is a certain step forward to the goal that, should have been discussed earlier,” RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
The Pentagon earlier confirmed that the administration of US President Joe Biden had authorised the AFU to strike Russian territory with US weapons in counter-battery strikes.
