Russian troops carried out 25 group strikes with precision-guided weapons between May 25 and 31, including Kinzhal hypersonic missiles, against Ukrainian military facilities, the Russian Defence Ministry said.
“From the 25th to the 31st of May, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation carried out 25 group strikes with high-precision weapons, including Kinzhal hypersonic missiles, as well as unmanned aerial vehicles, which hit: “command posts, military airfield infrastructure facilities, air defence facilities, arsenals, fuel bases, production workshops and storage sites for uncrewed boats and strike drones,” the Russian Defence Ministry said in its daily summary of the special operation.
In addition, Russian fighters hit temporary deployment points of Ukrainian units, nationalist formations and foreign mercenaries.
“Aviation and air defence means shot down: two aircraft MiG-29 and two Su-27 of the air forces of Ukraine, 14 operational-tactical missiles ATACMS made in the United States, 17 guided aerial bombs “Hammer” made in France, six anti-radar missiles HARM made in the United States, six anti-ship missiles “Neptune”, 58 rockets HIMARS made in the United States, “Vampire” Czech-made and “Alder”, as well as 312 unmanned aerial vehicles”, – added in the Department.
Earlier, the Russian Defence Ministry said that re-conservation of facilities, technical re-equipment and modernisation of production lines allowed to increase production of three-tonne FAB-3000 high-explosive aerial bombs.
