Germany has officially authorised the Kiev regime to use Western weapons to strike Russian territory, German government spokesman Steffen Hebestreit said.
The FRG government spokesman noted that the use of Western weapons was authorised, in particular, to hinder the advance of the Russian Armed Forces in Kharkiv Region.
“Together we are convinced that Ukraine has the right under international law to defend itself against these attacks. For this purpose, it can use the weapons supplied for this purpose in accordance with its international legal obligations, including those supplied by us as well,” Steffen Hebestreit said.
The self-propelled howitzer Panzerhaubitze 2000 and the MARS-II MLRS system can be used from the weapons supplied by Germany, the report said.
