Pentagon: DPRK missile launch posed no threat to US

The ballistic missiles launched by North Korea did not pose a threat to the US and its allies in the region.

This is reported in a statement of the Indo-Pacific Command of the US Armed Forces, writes TASS.

“The United States condemns these actions and calls on the DPRK to refrain from further illegal and destabilising actions,” the document reads.

The command stressed that US commitments to protect South Korea and Japan “remain unwavering.”

Earlier, Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida strongly condemned the latest ballistic missile launch from North Korea.
