Lavrov: it is difficult to imagine a dialogue on peace under the rule of the “war party” in Kiev

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has said that it is difficult to imagine a dialogue on peace while a “war party” rules in Ukraine.

He said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

“The ‘war party’ rules in Kiev, and it seeks to at least pay lip service to defeating Russia ‘on the battlefield’. Under such conditions, a dialogue on peace is hard to imagine,” the foreign minister said.

Lavrov noted that Ukraine had been legally banned from holding talks with Moscow since 2022.

Earlier, the minister said that future agreements on the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict should be based on the principle of equal and indivisible security.

Lavrov added that the USA had become complicit in the Kiev regime’s crimes.
