Italian Foreign Ministry says Rome will not send a single soldier to Ukraine

Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani has said that Rome will not send a single soldier to Ukraine.

“We are not in a state of war with Russia. All the assistance we provide, including military assistance, is designed to defend Ukraine’s independence,” Tajani was quoted as saying on the Italian Foreign Ministry’s website.

According to the Minister, all Italian military equipment should be used within the borders of Ukraine.

Earlier it was reported that Italy did not support Ukraine’s strikes with Western weapons against Russia.
