Yuriy Sak, adviser to the Minister for Strategic Industries of Ukraine, said that Britain had previously authorised Kiev to strike deep into Russian territory with British weapons.
“We already have a precedent. For example, Britain, they have previously authorised Ukraine to use the long-range Storm Shadow missiles supplied by them,” Yuri Sak said in comments to Bloomberg.
In addition, the adviser to the Minister for strategic industries of Ukraine said that allegedly Kiev produces its own weapons, which the AFU uses for strikes on Russian territory.
Earlier, the head of the British Defence Ministry, Grant Shapps, said that London had given a “green light” to Kiev to use British weapons for strikes on the Russian territory, including the Crimean peninsula.
