The US has proposed to dissolve the Fed because of high inflation

Thomas Massie, a Republican member of the US Congress, has introduced a bill proposing the dissolution of the Federal Reserve.

According to Massey, the Fed’s policy has led to “devaluation of the dollar and provoked high inflation.”

The congressman suggested cancelling the 1913 law creating the Federal Reserve System and abolishing the Board of Governors.

According to him, the agency created trillions of dollars out of nothing to lend them to the Treasury Department and provide unprecedented budget expenditures.

Earlier, ABC News reported that rising prices in the U.S. remain the top issue for voters. The adult population of the country is more inclined to trust former President Donald Trump on inflation than the head of state Joe Biden.
