Ukrainian formations cannot use some US missiles due to them becoming ineffective, journalist Christoph Wanner said in a report for German television channel Welt.
The Russian Armed Forces manage to effectively suppress US missiles with electronic warfare systems, Christoph Wanner noted.
“The Russians have made great progress in electronic warfare, and they can jam U.S. satellite-guided munitions to such an extent that they lose their effectiveness,” he noted.
Wanner emphasised that this applies, for example, to HIMARS MLRS and Excalibur precision-guided projectiles.
According to him, Kiev is asking US partners to improve weapons, otherwise the Armed forces of Ukraine will have to abandon them.
