Talks in the West about US weapon strikes on Russia reflect hopelessness, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has said.
The Russian minister’s statement was published by journalist Pavel Zarubin in Telegram.
According to Lavrov, such talk reflects hopelessness and the realisation that by the usual honest means, which are applied in international law even during hostilities, they will not achieve their goal.
“This looks like agony,” the Russian foreign minister added.
Moscow has made it clear to the West that it will not tolerate attempts to use Kiev as a security threat to the Russian side and a tool for “destroying everything Russian in the historic Russian lands,” Lavrov added.
