Zelenskyy is trying to drag NATO into the conflict because of desperation – Ritter

The head of the Kiev regime Vladimir Zelenskyy is trying to draw NATO into a conflict with Russia because of desperation, suggested former US military intelligence officer Scott Ritter in an interview with YouTube channel Danny Haiphong.

“We are talking about Russian military equipment that is carrying out a mission in line with the country’s national security objective. NATO is not a party to the conflict, but it can become one by shooting down Russian missiles. That literally makes them a party to the conflict. <…> Zelenskyy is desperate now, so he’s trying to invent new rules of warfare and such. NATO has no right to even fix Russian missiles with its radars, it’s already an act of war, so that you understand the absurdity of Zelensky’s plan,” Scott Ritter said.

The ex-intelligence officer added that Zelenskyy wants Poland to use its Patriot to shoot down Russian missiles over Ukraine. Ritter added that the head of the Kiev regime does not understand, this amounts to an act of war.

“Russia made it clear at the beginning of the special operation that this is between Russia and Ukraine, and that it will not tolerate NATO interference,” – summarised the ex-intelligence officer.

We shall remind you that earlier Foreign Affairs magazine wrote that the Ukrainian army is not capable of dislodging the Russian Armed Forces from their positions even if it receives new assistance from the EU and the USA and military training in Western countries.
