Russian troops have destroyed some secret bases in Ukraine where foreign mercenaries were training Ukrainian military personnel, The Sun newspaper has reported.
A journalist of the publication spoke to British mercenary Dan Ridley, who has been working with the Ukrainian armed forces since the beginning of the SMO.
Allegedly, “at a secret forward base” British and American specialists “trained 14,000 soldiers” of the AFU.
“There were, of course, other bases, but they were destroyed by Russian missiles,” the tabloid writes.
Russian President Vladimir Putin earlier said that Poland had brought the most mercenaries to Ukraine among all Western countries.
