American President Joe Biden opposes other nations recognising Palestine unilaterally.
This was reported by officials of the National Security Council of the White House, writes CNN.
“He (Biden) believes that a Palestinian state should be created through direct negotiations between the parties, not through unilateral recognition,” the NSC said.
Earlier, Anton Orlov, director of the Institute for the Study of Contemporary Politics, explained in a conversation with RT why a number of European countries recognised Palestine as a state.
