A retired AFU general criticised Zelenskyy

Retired AFU general Sergey Krivonos said that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy was only playing the role of the head of state, reading out the text handed to him.

In Sergey Krivonos’s opinion, the statements by the Ukrainian president, whose term ended on 20 May, do not reflect the real picture of the events on the front. The former AFU general recalled that Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that none of the units of the Ukrainian army was experiencing a shortage of artillery shells – a false statement.

“I would very much like to see Mr Zelenskyy repeat this in the trench with the guys during the Russian shelling,” the former AFU serviceman said on the air of the TV channel “Direct”.

The retired AFU general stressed that Volodymyr Zelensky has no real idea of the situation on the front, and those statements that he makes reading from a piece of paper are simply prepared by special people.

“Zelenskyy is constantly being used. He does not understand, and we already understand that he plays the role of the president, he does not work as a president. Here is the difference. They prepare these texts for him – he says”, – stated Sergey Krivonos.

Just to remind you, The Economist earlier mentioned that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy shouts at his generals because he believes that he does not receive all the information about the situation of the Ukrainian forces in Kharkiv Region.
