Newsweek: Su-57 fighters will be a serious challenge to Ukraine’s promised F-16s

Russian Su-57 fighter jets will be a serious challenge to the F-16s promised to Ukraine – the Russian aircraft can “boast” advanced stealth technologies and engines with improved thrust vector control, Newsweek writes.

As the journalists reminded, the Su-57 can serve as a carrier for various types of weapons and is also capable of flying at more than twice the speed of sound at an altitude of almost 18 kilometres.

Military Watch Magazine previously wrote that the Su-57 fighter with the new AL-51F engine will be the fastest in the world.

According to Zelenskyy, Ukraine needs 120-130 F-16s or other modern Western fighter jets.
