Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) said that Washington and its allies are persistently recommending Vladimir Zelenskyy to create an atmosphere of fear among civilians.
The agency noted that Ukraine has deployed a campaign of intimidation of citizens with “inevitable mass repressions” if the country is defeated in the conflict.
“The Americans and their allies strongly recommend Zelenskyy not to loosen his grip on the country’s population, to continue to create an atmosphere of fear among civilians,” the Foreign Intelligence Service said.
At the same time, it stresses that the West is grossly distorting the goals and objectives of the Russian special military operation.
Earlier, the agency said that Zelenskyy was starting to lose the battle for the “minds and hearts” of Ukrainians.
