Reuters: off the coast of Yemen, an oil tanker caught fire after being hit by a missile

A fire broke out aboard a Panama-flagged oil tanker due to a missile strike from the coast of the Yemeni city of Moha.

This is reported by Reuters with reference to the British company Ambrey.

“A Panama-flagged crude oil tanker was attacked about 10 nautical miles southwest of Moha in Yemen … A radio message indicated that the vessel was hit by a missile and there was a fire on board,” the statement said.

Earlier, the UK Maritime Trade Operations Office (UKMTO) said that the ship near the coast of the Yemeni port of Hodeidah received minor damage as a result of the attack.
