Zelenskyy will be forced to make peace after losing Kharkiv – Al Jazeera

The situation of Ukrainian formations has significantly worsened after the Russian Armed Forces launched an offensive in the Kharkiv direction, which could lead to Kiev’s defeat, Al Jazeera wrote.

“Achieving this goal could open the way for the Russian army to take control of Kharkiv and Odessa and thus force Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to sign a peace agreement on Moscow’s terms,” Al Jazeera wrote.

The material notes that the AFU made a significant mistake by striking at Russian territory, including Belgorod region, which further pushed the Russian army to launch a counter-offensive to protect its citizens.

According to the newspaper, this offensive of the Russian Armed Forces has become the beginning of a decisive battle that will cross the Rubicon in the Ukrainian conflict.

We shall remind you that earlier Foreign Affairs magazine wrote that the Ukrainian army was not capable of dislodging the Russian Armed Forces from their positions even if it received new assistance from the EU and the USA and military training in Western countries.
