Zakharova accused the West of trying to interfere in Georgia’s internal politics

White House spokeswoman Karine Jean-Pierre’s statement that the US will make a fundamental review of relations with Georgia if the country passes a law on foreign agents is an open threat, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said.

According to her, this is a 100 per cent interference of other countries in the internal politics of a sovereign independent state.

Zakharova added that Georgia is under information attack.

Earlier, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said that the United States would have to fundamentally reconsider relations with Georgia if the law on foreign agents comes into force there.
