Members of the Verkhovna Rada have travelled to the US to persuade Washington to allow Kiev to use US weapons to attack Russia, Politico writes.
According to the publication, the Ukrainian MPs are trying to force the US authorities to lift the ban on the use of weapons received from the USA for strikes against Russia.
The parliamentarians intend to ask Congress for support in this matter, the publication said.
Meanwhile, the administration of US President Joe Biden said that they do not plan to change their policy yet. According to a US official, Washington is providing assistance to Ukraine for defence, not for offensive operations, Politico reports.
Earlier, retired German general Roland Kater urged to look for options for exiting the Ukrainian conflict.
